Primary Oil Filters
- COMBU Primary Oil Filters are designed to meet the requirements of a wide variety of applications ranging from Residential through Commercial / Industrial to Waste Oils.
- Supplied with Vent and Drain Ports.
- Center Bolt “O” Ring provides positive seal to cover, eliminating nuisance vacuum leaks.
- Leak proof, captive “O” Ring, seal between the cup and cover.
- Stainless steel cleanable/recyclable element, available with either 100 or 300 micron filtering capacity.
- Bottom element gasket assembly to insure tight fit between the element and cup.
- Durable die cast aluminum housing construction.
- U.L. listed for: Kerosene, No. 2 Fuel Oil, No. 4, 5 and 6 Heavy Oils and Waste Oils.

* U.L. Oil Filter/Strainer Ratings are based on the free open area of the element in terms of GPH Firing Rate of the Burner (Nozzle Capacity) up to 7.5 square inches (20 GPH) for #1 Oil, 15 square inches (40 GPH) for #2 Oil and 20 square inches (120 GPH) for #4, #5 or #6 Oils. Once maximum free open areas are exceeded, U.L. assigns a rating of 20+, 40+ or 120+, respectively, in lieu of a specific gallonage rating. When selecting filter with this type of rating, consideration should be given to the pressure drop through the filter (see Pressure Drop Curves Drawing). |
